BMW M5 E28 Finished in Salmon Silver with Anthracite Buffalo Hide 1986 (C Plate) 107,000 Miles Shadowline Trim Green Tinted Glass Power Sunroof Rear Sunshade Power Front Seats Rear Headrests Headlight Washer + Wipers Air Conditioning M-Technic Rear Spoiler Press Vehicle Preparation This is one of the earliest UK M5's and possibly the oldest surviving, being number four of the 187 right-hand drive vehicles. Also, it is the 1st registered E28 right hand drive M5 being Cherish Plate 1. The E28 M5 was a proper real deal with an M1 engine where the preceding M535i is almost a production car using some BMW Motorsport bits. New timing belt and fuel tank have also been fitted by the same main dealer. The vehicle was rust proofed at three years old with a refresh recently there is still plenty of evidence of this treatment working its magic and there is absolutely no rust. Recently the vehicle has enjoyed a bottom half repaint plus new undershields and the engine has been detailed and looking like factory new. All of the electrics are in working order with no warning lights or showing any faults. This car is a true collectors piece, very rarely does a vehicle of this nature come for sale in such excellent condition.
